Quadrun ist das erste Videospiel mit Sprachausgabe. Zwar sind es nur ein paar Sekunden gesprochener Text ("Quadrun! Quadrun! Quadrun!", gesprochen von Steve Woita), die auch noch vom Spieler weitgehend ignoriert werden, trotzdem war dies ein Meilenstein der Videospielgeschichte.
Quadrun war ursprünglich exklusiv für Mitglieder des Atari Club erhältlich.
